While laboratory testing is an important part of environmental assessments, the collection of high-quality field samples is a pre-requisite to obtaining technically accurate and legally defensible results. Furthermore, the evaluation of actual “real-world” or in situ conditions in the field is becoming increasingly important in the characterization and resolution of potential environmental impacts.
