Biological Assessment of a Zinc Contaminated Foothill Stream
Pacific EcoRisk designed and managed a TRIAD study (i.e., chemistry, toxicology, and bioassessment) region of Miner’s Ravine (Placer County, CA) contaminated by zinc. PER sampled the area following the 3-transect method for high-gradient streams. The study required coordination of sampling efforts as well as data sharing between PER and the CVRWQCB staff, and resulted in a presentation at a national conference. |
